Hola mi amigos - So we really need to start generating some final ideas/plans for our party on the 21st. We don't want this to be a last minute thing.
If I'm not mistaken, it's going to be at Leslie's parent's house?
I'm thinking of renting a big tent (just in case)
1 keg? 2 kegs? - how many people are we expecting?
there's talk of smoking....a pig. (get your minds out of the gutters!)
and it looks like we have access to heaters, generators, etc.
Please send feedback!
This is going to be our last Local Spirits gathering for quite some time, so I really want to try to make it special.
Let's send Brandon off with a large helping of positive vibes to get him started on his next journey.
This could be one for the ages!
And I promise to stay off of the Absinthe

Yes. My parents are very excited about the party, as are most of my neighbors.
Nate, do you know who you are going to get a tent from? I have a friend who rents them often, I can talk to her and see what she knows about large ones and best prices. Let me know if you need my help on that.
I AM GETTING ONE KEG! If others want to throw in and get a 2nd (if we need it), cool. If not, thats cool too.
Bonfire wood is ready and waiting. If no pig, then we can definately grill out.
Camping-between my yard and the neighbors yard, we are going to have about 3 1/2 acres. I'll be out there all day long so whenever anyone wants to come and set up camp, please do. My parents would prefer everyone to stay, and why wouldn't you want to, it's going to be off the hook!!
The only slight problem is parking. The driveway will hold probably 8-9 cars, but there is Sacks Market not even a mile away and I can shuttle people from there or the Bowling Alley. Car-pooling would be ideal!
I know some of you have little ones who may not want to camp. I've already promised the guest room to Craig and fam, but there is still a futon, pull-out couch, and an air mattress. Let me know if you want to go that route instead.
It's coming up soon. Let's get things rolling!

Hey guys...my dad needs to know if and how much extension cords you may need. I guess you all can determine that after you figure out where you are going to set up. Let me know when you want to go out there.

OK boys and girls, lets not get our panties in a wad. Hold off on renting a tent until you come scope out the back 40. I do have a covered 12X24 back porch. Only problem is that it's far from the fire, but is an option. I have tiki torches to light your way, a few extra spots to sleep(pass out) and plan on starting my ancient Indian dances soon to ward off the rain. If there's anything else, give me a shout.

Welcome Peggy!
Sounds awesome folks..
Fran didn't you say you had some? What size were they?
FYI I found out the problem w/my recording studio and with my bass amp was the electricity at 2 keys. It shorted the computer, corrupted a bunch of files, and now I have to reinstall the operating system.
My bass amp, on the other hand, is likely to be a costly speaker repair job.
Memories memories... heh
