Haha yeah who knows.. we may be talking to a cave.
Let's see.. news updates from me...
Buying a boat, probably a 20 ft bayliner for clamming; Buying a hookah system (scuba without a tank); Buying a wetsuit (so I don't get hypothermia again)...
Looking forward to rocking out in the new year!
Cheers -B

I had a blast myself! Best open mic in quite sometime! I was amazed at how tight we were, considering. I also have my recording software onboard and running trials and getting to know the various programs(so I can pick a favorite). I recorded some stuff with just the two Rhode NT5 mics, as room mics only(no individual miking) and it was way better than expected!! So, from now on, every single bit of music that is played at Barefoot Studios will be recorded!! Yeah!! B and Nate, I still am going to record the percussion project and would like you guys to add your magic. So, I'll let you know when I'm versed enough on the software. Peace, C-unit

Killer!
Good to hear from you Becca.
I've got the hooka & scuba gear en route, just boat shopping...
Nate - Glad to hear about M-F. Hope your gigs have been going well!
Craig - Awesome about the recording software.
All - we should start brainstorming on songs to work on when I'm back, or a set list of favs to play...
I suggested to Nate on the phone, High Tide / Low Tide by Bob Marley. Any other ideas?
Cheers -B

what's up gang? i think i've finally turned the corner on the recording project. cubase seems to be pretty user-friendly.
b- any word on dates yet? i know it's pretty far out...but i'm stoked! i might have a couple of new venues to play.
craig - studio work wednesday? it shoudn't take too long to build that riser for you. do you still have any home-brew?
and to the rest....stay posted.

That's a crazy thought Nate. I hope it goes well.
I brought home my baby tonight...
She's a '67, 19 ft, 120 hp hunk of burning fiberglass love. Fully covered deck, wheel, seats 6 with extra space up front.. which means in reality it seats me, my scuba gear, and about 600 lbs of clams per trip depending on stackability and the water line.
Check out the poor night pic on my myspace if you want. I didn't get home before dark so it didn't turn out the best. More to come.
You can't tell from the pic but the boat is actually bigger than the truck. The truck is parked at an angle from the fence I used as a tripod, heh.

Damn!! Me love you Large time!! Hey, Nate and Link, I have finally cracked the mystery of recording multiple tracks on both Cool Edit Pro and Reaper software. Too Coolio! Now the real recording begins.( percussion project). Got some cool ideas. Link, I hope to have the trial run ready in about a week. Cheers be to all!
