Ok seriously folks, why is it that some days no one bothers to post but then the next day there's posts all over the place?? Have you all not realized how much more fun it is when everyone gets on here and talks. Get it together people! Brandon, you haven't been your normal self lately, where are all your comments and Nate, don't even get me started on you. You have been absent from this a whole lot lately. Don't make me get nasty! As far as I'm concerned, Nat, Sara, Becca, and myself have been the only supporters of the board and I thank you all for your dedication! The rest of you better get it in gear!! Love ya mean it!!

Lindsey...I can definitely feel the love flowing out of that message But seriously...I'm with Lindsey on this one. Just because there are no shows coming up, or loose boards to dance on, or (for some of you) doughnuts and pancakes after the late night out, or flood-outs...does not mean you can back down from your duties as an LS fan. This is the crucial time when we need to group together to prep for the upcoming year of excitement! Now get in gear and POST SOMETHING!!!

Thank you Sara! Now Sara has taken the first step and posted something. The rest of you need to as well. Like she said, we need to get together and prep for the upcoming year! Come on folks!

Well it is about time! I have to say though I'm very proud of you for getting all those shows booked up. You're a good man! I'm hoping we can make a Molly Malone's show in January. My birthday is in January and my big birthday bash is on the 27th so don't plan anything so you all can come as just normal people and drink it up for my b-day!!

just booked another one. and this one is huge...but tricky. we got a show at the southgate house in newport, ky! if you aren't familiar, this is one of the most prestigious venues in the state. it's one of my favorite places to see shows. it's right across the street from the newport aquarium and from the outside it looks like an old mansion. it's really cool. so here's the deal. we're playing on SUNDAY jan. 14th. this is good and bad. this isn't a venue where people just go and hang out. we really need to bring people. so if you know anyone in the newport, covington, cincinati area please spread the word. we're going to play fairly early...8:00-ish so people can come up and experience this wonderful venue, local spirits style and then make it home at a reasonable hour. i would suggest making a day of it. i'm hoping to go up early and maybe eat at the hoffbrau hause. the authentic german resturant. ALL ARE INVITED TO JOIN! so come on up. we'll smash some bier steins together, break bread, and then rock out at the southgate house! make plans now!

OK OK OK since I was mentioned I thought I better report. I have been at work all day, and last night was out late with Leslie and Nate, thus no posts. Yes people do need to talk more on here, great job Lindsey and Sara for getting the ball rolling. and to Nate and his planning skills...fuckin awesome dude! I am really excited about all the shows...Like I said last night, next semester I am taking 17 hours so I may be scarce...but as Leslie pointed out there is no way I can keep from dancing...I just love you guys too much!

Guilty as charged, I won't try and deny it.
It's finals week in what should have been the last semester of my graduate degree, which is now looking like it's going to take a couple more months, grr.
Thanks for calling me out Linz, heh.
Best, -B

B, you know I wouldn't call you out unless I really had to!! It was getting just a wee bit ridiculous!! But anyway everyone is back and I'm really happy now. I have something to do at work again!! WOO HOO!!! Sorry to hear about school B. That sucks. But you're getting a show at Southgate House!! That's pretty cool. When Chris and I went to Newport for the weekend a while back that place was rockin out as we walked by. Good Luck to you all, I know you'll do great!!

It's a full show as well as I know, but based on how many folks come, etc. they might ask us back again or give us a more favorable night like Friday or Saturday.
It's a really nice atmosphere, good place. It'll be great!

For those of you who have never been, the Southgate house is a HUGE opportunity for the band. There are three venues (concert stages) within the place... the lounge (where the guys will be playing) is in the front part of the house and is a smaller area where they have bands play regularly or open up for bands playing on some of the larger stages, the Parlour is a larger room and stage upstairs, and the Ballroom is the BIG stage area. They also have an art gallery on the third floor. The place is super-cool.
Anyhow, the best thing about it is that often times on the weekends, or when they bring in a bigger act to the Ballroom, they will have another band playing in the lounge area. SO, if the guys put on a good show and come with a good crowd, they will hopefully be asked back for some weekend gigs or whatnot. It would just be a good way to get the music to some more people!
